Service commitment
Geeky Digital Cloud commits to 99.8% monthly availability for the provider-controlled virtualisation infrastructure and network needed to operate each active, paid VPS service. The commitment applies to VPS plans provided under the Terms of Service, for both business and individual customers.
The commitment concerns the infrastructure service. It does not promise that customer-installed applications, a guest configuration or third-party software will function correctly. A working control panel alone is not evidence that a VPS is available, and a panel interruption alone is not necessarily a VPS outage.
Measurement
Availability is assessed per service and per calendar month in UTC:
Availability = (eligible minutes − provider downtime minutes) ÷ eligible minutes × 100.
Eligible minutes run from activation until termination within that month, excluding periods in which the customer has requested the service to be stopped or access is legitimately suspended under the Terms. Provider downtime is a period during which the covered infrastructure or provider network prevents the VPS service from being available, as established from infrastructure records and relevant customer evidence. A fault confined to a customer's software or an external network outside our control is not provider downtime.
For a continuously eligible 30-day month, 99.8% allows 86.4 minutes of provider downtime. Shorter service periods use their actual eligible minutes. If there are no eligible minutes in a month, no monthly percentage is calculated for that service. Planned provider maintenance that causes unavailability counts as provider downtime under this version; there is no separate undisclosed maintenance allowance.
Maintenance and incident reporting
We communicate planned work affecting service through the account or its contact channels. Urgent protective work may have to begin before advance notice is possible. Report an incident through support with the service reference, UTC timestamps and symptoms. If the panel is unavailable, contact abuse@geekydigital.cloud.
We review infrastructure records together with the evidence supplied and explain the outcome. Response and restoration depend on the incident; this agreement does not state an additional fixed response-time or repair-time promise.
Recovery and backups
Host-restart recovery follows the power policy shown on your service page. Services marked Enabled have completed that configuration; a legacy service marked Pending adoption requires support review before automatic recovery can be relied on. A service deliberately stopped through the panel is intended to remain stopped. Shutdown inside a guest does not update the panel's desired power state. Infrastructure recovery does not replace your own backups.
Only backup coverage expressly included in the order is included. A panel/database backup is not proof of a backup of every customer VM. Snapshots, restoration options and retention depend on the purchased service; this agreement does not add an unpurchased offsite backup or a numerical recovery-point or recovery-time commitment.
Claims and remedies
If you believe monthly availability fell below 99.8%, submit a support request identifying the service, month and outage periods, or use the contact above. We assess the claim and discuss the appropriate remedy with you. This version does not define an automatic percentage or service-credit tariff, so it does not authorise an automatic deduction or promise a particular credit amount. The absence of a fixed credit schedule does not remove contractual or mandatory statutory remedies, or the 14-day withdrawal policy in the Terms.
This is a service commitment, not a statement that any particular host or past month has already achieved 99.8%.
